I just thought this pic of Hannah reading was adorable - laid back in her bean bag lounging with her books.
Sarah has become interested in the home economics of life - sewing!!! Her Baba must be sooo proud of her!!! She is little "Miss Home Maker" around here. She has made some really creative little purses. I know she is "itching" to have a "big" girl sewing machine too!
My little sweet Hannah had to endure (for the last time) a kidney reflux test at Scottish Rite Hospital this month. The nurse emptied her bladder, then filled her bladder with solution along with a nuclear substance in order to view her little kidneys working on the x-ray machine.
She was such a little trooper. She had her cute little hospital bracelet on, a lovely hospital gown, and then was strapped to the table for the procedure. Thank goodness the nurse put on a "Dora" movie for her to watch during the procedure while I held her hands. Sarah was a great help to me as well while her little sister endured all of this! Afterward, they both were given pink balloons and a lollipop. The best news of all of it, is that she was completely healed from kidney reflux. We give God the glory for His healing touch to our sweet little Hannah Joy!
I had the privilege of substituting for Sarah's kindergarten class one day - only for one hour during recess and lunch. Therefore, it was easy enough to take little Hannah along with me for the fun. Hannah was ecstatic about going to "big" school. She wore her backpack and carried her lunchbox, so she could sit next to "Sissy" to eat lunch. Sarah enjoyed having us there too.
Oh, yes, the Tooth Fairy - finally - came to visit our house this month - twice!!! Sarah was so excited to finally be losing a tooth!!! I pulled them both out for her, b/c they were just dangling. I held it together without freaking out, so she would be calm about it, but on the inside I wanted to scream!!!So this is our little "catch-me-up" post. I hope I can stay on top of posting better than I have the past 2 months!
