We went to Grammy and Grandpa's to celebrate Memorial Day and Mark's 35th birthday.
Sarah played "Sorry" with Grammy, Grandpa, and Mark while Hannah took a nap.
We sang Happy Birthday to Daddy with a yummy Key Lime Pie - his favorite!!
Of course, Daddy got the special plate for his special day!
We surprised Daddy at his office with a BIG banner for his birthday!
We had a special steak dinner to celebrate his birthday!
Happy Birthday Daddy! Your three girls love you!

Quick Cousins Visit

I took the girls to Augusta to Baba and Papa's for a quick 24 hour visit. We made the trip so we could visit cousin Elizabeth on the way back home.
We took the cousins to the county park to play in the water features.
Morgan and Sarah having fun the water fountains!

Snack time!
Running a lap around the pond = 1/3 mile
Good job kiddos! Maybe Sarah will be a runner like her Daddy.
We stopped by Elizabeth's house on the way back to Bethlehem. E had eye surgery so we wanted to drop by to encourage her and bring some laughter.
Caroline and Hannah playing.

We had a fabulous time visiting. Aunt Shari, thank you for letting us bombard your home for a couple of hours. This was before I backed into the telephone pole as I was leaving! Yep, I did - no damage either way, and after I had Uncle Todd add air to my front tire. Oh dear me - praise the Lord we made it home safely!

Farley's Forced Family Fun Camping Weekend

We had our annual camping trip with the Brogdon Family. We decided to stay close to home to save on gas and be close to home - just in case. We stayed 2 nights at Fort Yargo in Winder, which has many activities for kids and families to enjoy.
This was our walk-in campsite before we destroyed it.

Relaxing before the Brogdon bunch arrives!
Testing out the sleeping arrangements. I wish Hannah had stayed that still the first night we were there!
Enjoying some quiet peacefulness!

Yep, you see correctly! We left the campsite the first night for Stevi B's pizza! Being so close to civilization while camping, we said, why not!??!!

The girls enjoyed a large rock pile next to the parking lot.
It's fishing time!

Well, we survived the first night with Hannah! I was 30 minutes away from driving her home to 925 Nature Trail, but finally she fell asleep at 11:30. Needless to say, she was EXHAUSTED the next day as well as her mother! The other campers around us, "promised" me she didn't disturb them during the night! They were of course - just being nice.
The girls enjoying some lake swimming!

Ellie and Sarah helping Hannah walk in the hot sand.
The girls actually being still and coloring.
The second night, we did actually make a traditional camper's dinner (hamburgers, hot-dogs, chips, watermelon, and SMORES).
The Brogdon Bunch!
This view was beautiful!
The Farley Four!

It's SMORES time!
We had a fabulous camping trip and enjoyed making new memories as a family and with friends. We look forward to many more years of camping! I have come a long way from never (other than my backyard as a kid) camping to actually planning our camping trips each year.

Petal Pusher Placemats

I decided to make Grammy some place-mats for her Mother's Day gift. I thought she could use some summer color on her kitchen table.
I bought 6 blue rectangle place-mats from Wal-mart and made petal pusher flower pins to embellish each one.

I think they will be perfect for a little Memorial Day and Independence Day decor!

We Have A Preschool Graduate

This was Sarah's last day of preschool! They had a class luau in the morning.
Sarah and her teacher Mrs. Teresa Binns.
Sarah and her friend Lydia Chafin.
Sarah and her teacher Mrs. Kristy Wilkerson.
Grammy and Grandpa came over to celebrate with us and attend Sarah's graduation.

The beautiful and proud preschool graduate all ready to accept her diploma.

Sarah - Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you for the young lady you are becoming. You have a sensitive heart who cares about other people and loves to encourage other people with your sweet dimple smile, loving hugs, and adorable prayers.

Yay! We have a preschool graduate! We are celebrating at Chick-fil-a with some yummy ice cream!!! I am thrilled that Grammy and Grandpa were able to be there with us to celebrate such a special day for Sarah!
