Farley's Forced Family Fun Camping Weekend

We had our annual camping trip with the Brogdon Family. We decided to stay close to home to save on gas and be close to home - just in case. We stayed 2 nights at Fort Yargo in Winder, which has many activities for kids and families to enjoy.
This was our walk-in campsite before we destroyed it.

Relaxing before the Brogdon bunch arrives!
Testing out the sleeping arrangements. I wish Hannah had stayed that still the first night we were there!
Enjoying some quiet peacefulness!

Yep, you see correctly! We left the campsite the first night for Stevi B's pizza! Being so close to civilization while camping, we said, why not!??!!

The girls enjoyed a large rock pile next to the parking lot.
It's fishing time!

Well, we survived the first night with Hannah! I was 30 minutes away from driving her home to 925 Nature Trail, but finally she fell asleep at 11:30. Needless to say, she was EXHAUSTED the next day as well as her mother! The other campers around us, "promised" me she didn't disturb them during the night! They were of course - just being nice.
The girls enjoying some lake swimming!

Ellie and Sarah helping Hannah walk in the hot sand.
The girls actually being still and coloring.
The second night, we did actually make a traditional camper's dinner (hamburgers, hot-dogs, chips, watermelon, and SMORES).
The Brogdon Bunch!
This view was beautiful!
The Farley Four!

It's SMORES time!
We had a fabulous camping trip and enjoyed making new memories as a family and with friends. We look forward to many more years of camping! I have come a long way from never (other than my backyard as a kid) camping to actually planning our camping trips each year.
