Releasing Ceremony

My sweet little Hannah!
Remember that turtle we decided to "rescue" from the highway, well we finally set it free. Mark built "Joshua" the turtle a wonderful habitat, but God has built the turtle an even better habitat. The little guy was just not eating too much and not appearing very happy. Mark and I discussed all of this with Sarah, and allowed her to make the choice of what she wanted to do with the turtle. She was such a mature little-big girl and decided to set it free.
We are telling "Joshua" bye-bye and letting him know he is going to love his new home.
So, we walked down to the creek in our neighbor's backyard to release the turtle. Sarah set him down, and he immediately took off (as much as a turtle can take off) into the woods and found a hollowed out log to make his new habitat.
We were so proud of Sarah for respecting the turtle's best interest and returning it back to the natural habitat that God intended it to have.
Hannah looking as cute as ever trying to ride a bike.
